In one of the shophouses with an area of eight square meters, Rian Priatna's eyes look serious at looking at old jackets from piles of sacks. One by one the used clothes were sorted. Checking zippers, buttons, and jacket colors that will be distributed to customers or who become resellers of their merchandise. "We don't always sell goods online, we automatically provide them for those who buy here directly," said Rian, Bandung City, West Java, last September. Rian is one of dozens of wholesale owners of Cimol, which stands for Cibadak Mall. This area inside the Gedebage Main Market, Bandung City specializes in selling used clothes.

Cimol Gedebage Market started in the 1990s. Starting from overhang traders selling used clothes along Jalan Cibadak. 'Cimol' itself is an abbreviation of 'Cibadak Mall'.
Over time, Cimol kept moving from place to place. Even so, people still call it Cimol.

After changing places many times, the sellers are now living in a building located inside the Gedebage Main Market in the east of Bandung City.

Cimol Gedebage Market experienced its heyday in the early 2000s. At that time, the market became a fashion reference for many people. Almost every week the market is always flooded with buyers.

The pile of sacks containing used clothes from Japan just arrived that day. According to Rian, among the piles of sacks, there are many branded clothes that are still worth selling.

If you're lucky, there are clothes with well-known labels in pretty good condition. But there is also a lot of 'junk' clothing that is difficult to resell to customers.

"Goods, right, can be sorted. Some can be sold for Rp. 50 thousand to Rp. 60 thousand. The items are separated, usually for online sellers," said Rian.
