The Ambassador of Afghanistan to Indonesia, Faizullah Zaki, visited Central Java to establish cooperation in a number of sectors. His arrival was greeted directly by the Deputy Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen at his office.

Taj Yasin said that the arrival of the Afghan Ambassador was originally due to his interest in handling and preventing Covid-19 in Central Java. Then, see the potential that exists for further cooperation.

"Initially, he saw that the handling and prevention of Covid-19 in Central Java was good. Then I want to see first hand what potential can be brought to Afghanistan, "he said.

As previously stated, the Afghan side is interested in the production of glass, textiles and tea, which Afghanistan has yet to produce.

"Yes, there is no production of glass, textiles and tea. So that he is interested in taking it from here, "he explained.

In addition, they also want to collaborate in the fields of economy, culture and education. So that there is a better relationship.

"Earlier, he conveyed the problems there. Afghanistan also has potential, such as fruits, vegetables and spices. We also want to open up investment there, "he added.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Indonesia, Faizullah Zaki, said that his party had held a limited meeting with the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia regarding business and investment.

"We have great potential, as well as Central Java. But Afghanistan has not yet cooperated with Central Java, "he said.

According to him, he is interested in the potential that exists in Central Java. And, promised to convey the results of his visit this time to investors in his country

"We are very happy and we will convey the potential of Central Java to Afghan investors," he said.
