The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) will provide fiscal incentives to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who are interested in building an export-oriented business through the Ease of Import for Export Purposes (KITE) facility. Through this fiscal incentive, business actors who are interested in running the export business will receive facilities in the form of exemption from Import Duty and no Value Added Tax (PPN) or Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM) for imports of raw materials, machinery and sample goods.

"For fiscal incentives, we provide exemption, suspension and do not collect from import duties, taxes and excise," said Director of Customs Facility DJBC, Padmoyo Tri Wikanto in his presentation in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/6).

Padmoyo said that the provision of these incentives was intended so that the fostered MSMEs could increase exports and production capacity, and the rules regarding these incentives were contained in PMK 177/PMK.04/2016 jo 110/PMK/04/2019.

Apart from the KITE facility, this fiscal incentive will also be provided through the Bonded Logistics Center (PLB), which consists of PLB Small and Medium Industries (IKM) with the aim of assisting business actors in storing goods, especially in the distribution process to import companies and consolidating export goods.

Apart from PLB IKM, there is also an e-commerce PLB that will help store goods sold through the online platform to support exports.
