The Indonesian Textile Association or API ensures that the country's textile industry continues to move towards net zero emissions or NZE. This was done by the textile industry to support government programs to reduce emissions. Chairman of API Jemmy Kartiwa Sastraatmaja said that this step was carried out in collaboration with Logic Art Taiwan to discuss zero emission issues and the latest technology to achieve net-zero emissions, with speakers from the Taiwan Textile Research Institute.

"They brought in 2 professors, 5 from manufacturing missionaries to bring the technology they have now," he explained, in Bandung, Thursday (7/9/2023).

According to Jemmy, the cooperation brought the latest technology used by other countries to be replicated by textile entrepreneurs in the country, especially regarding reducing emissions.

However, he believes that it is difficult to reduce the textile industry sector to zero emissions at all. The reason is, in the production process, the textile industry still requires energy.
