The performance of the textile commodity export sector in Yogyakarta has developed significantly. PT Woneel Midas Leathers, which is located in Semin, Gunungkidul, exported 695 CT gloves with an export value of 781,308 US dollars or IDR 11.92 billion. PT Woneel Midas Leathers itself is a company that receives bonded area facilities from Yogyakarta Customs and Excise.

"PT Woneel Midas Leathers is one of the exporting companies that is trusted to produce gloves with undoubted export quality. These export activities are carried out through the Tanjung Emas port, Semarang to the export destination country, the United States," said the Section Head and Yogyakarta Customs and Excise Information Services Affandi Gempar Aryani, in a written statement, Monday (11/9/2023).

As a company receiving bonded zone facilities, export activities carried out by PT Woneel Midas Leathers are still directly supervised by Yogyakarta Customs and Excise employees. According to Affandi, the bonded zone facility makes it easier for entrepreneurs to process the delivery of their export goods to the destination country.
