The Minister of Industry revealed that the Hannover Messe 2021 event is an important event to show the strength of the national industry in the application of industry 4.0 while at the same time encouraging the connection between Indonesia and the global supply chain network. In addition, introducing the vision for national industrial development and priority programs on the road map for Making Indonesia 4.0.
"We see that the countries appointed as partner countries are countries that are considered quite advanced in their industrial sector. Coupled with the status of the G20 member countries and the existence of the roadmap for Industry 4.0, Indonesia is also considered to be equal to other big industrial countries, "said Agus.
The Director General of Resilience, Territoriality and International Industrial Access (KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry, Eko S.A Cahyanto said, based on data from Deutsche Messe AG as the organizer, the Hannover Messe 2021 Digital Edition has managed to attract as many as 90,000 participants and 1800 exhibitors. "Furthermore, it has held 1300 events with 1500 speakers, featuring more than 10,500 products and innovations, as well as getting 140,000 stream views," he said.
The Director General of KPAII believes that with the successful implementation of the Hannover Messe 2021 Digital Edition, there will be increased cooperation, business agreements, investment, exports, and technology transfer. This opportunity can accelerate efforts to recover the national economy due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Therefore, collaboration with various parties is very important to do. This is because this is an important momentum to spur national branding as well as to boost the capability of our manufacturing sector, "he explained.
This is in line with the main theme carried by the Hannover Messe 2021 Digital Edition, namely "Industrial Transformation". In particular, Indonesia complements it with the sub-theme of "Making Indonesia 4.0". The tagline raised at this year's Hannover Messe is "Connect to Accelerate".
"Indonesia featured as many as 156 participants from various industrial sectors who showed their extraordinary potential, especially from the seven priority sectors in Making Indonesia 4.0, namely the electronics, chemical, food and beverage, automotive, textile and garment, pharmaceutical, and medical equipment industries. large, medium scale industry and also startups, "he explained.
The 156 companies are divided into the six categories shown, namely 15 companies in the Automation, Motion & Drives category, then 55 companies in the Digital Ecosystem category, 13 companies in the Energy Solutions category, 20 companies in the Engineered Parts & Solutions category, 38 companies in the Global Business & Category category.
