The issuer that provides quality fabrics, uniforms and fashion, PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL), continues to accept orders for uniforms during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The management of Trisula Textile Industries is also committed to continuously improving quality and expanding domestic market share through various innovations.

BELL's Corporate Secretary, R Nurwulan Kusumawati revealed, 96.8 percent of BELL sales in the first quarter of 2021 were local contributions. Meanwhile, sales from exports contributed 3.2 percent.

“Going forward, as this pandemic recovers, BELL will continue to look for opportunities that exist in the uniform market. On the other hand, we will also explore the export market, "said Nurwulan.

Until now, BELL through its subsidiary PT Mido Indonesia has produced uniforms for various government and private institutions such as banks, hospitals, airlines, and so on. Its contribution to uniform sales to the Company's total revenue in the first quarter of 2021 reached 40 percent.

BELL sales in the first quarter of 2021 were recorded at Rp 111.1 billion. This figure is up 5.8 percent on a quarterly basis. In terms of BELL's net profit in the first quarter of 2021, it was recorded at Rp. 3.8 billion, an increase of 122.2 percent on a quarterly basis.

The management of Trisula Textile Industries admits that they are optimistic about the Company's prospects in the future. This refers to a situation that slowly returns to normal. Such as retail stores that have started operating and vaccinations are available. So that people have started to be able to return to their activities accompanied by health protocols.

"This is one of the factors for the growth of business actors including BELL, especially when BELL always adapts to the existing conditions with our expertise. It is hoped that in the future BELL will get better performance as the economy recovers, "said Nurwulan.

At the close of stock trading on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, shares of PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL) fell slightly by 0.78 percent to Rp 128 per share.

BELL shares opened stagnant at Rp 129 per share. The total frequency of stock trading is around 279 times with a transaction value of IDR 275.9 million.
