A company engaged in the textile industry, PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) participated as a participant in the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination program which was held on Tuesday (18/5) and Wednesday (19/5) in Tangerang, Banten.

Iswardeni, Corporate Secretary of Pan Brothers said that the PBRX employees who were proposed for the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination in the first phase amounted to 3,000 people even though the allocation only reached 1,000.

PBRX prioritizes the first stage of Covid-19 vaccine for employees at supervisor level and above, because they have a high level of mobility in the field to manage production operations.

PBRX also prioritizes vaccination activities for employees who function at the front office such as security officers, the company's Covid-19 task force, personnel, including labor unions. Next, the Covid-19 vaccine is also given to production employees and the back office.

"The budget prepared is adjusted to the price set by the government for 3,000 people in the first phase," said Iswardeni.

He added that PBRX is a labor-intensive company and must maintain its operational continuity despite the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, it is necessary to accelerate the implementation of vaccination and at the same time assist the government in overcoming the spread of Covid-19.

He also ensured that there were no changes to the operational production targets carried out by PBRX before and after the vaccination process took place.

PBRX is one of 22,746 companies that registered for the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination at Kadin Indonesia, which was attended by more than 10 million participants. In the past, PBRX enrolled 31,370 employees and 64,350 employee family members in the vaccination program.
