The Central Jakarta District Court (PN) held a hearing on the request for postponement of debt payment obligations (PKPU) which was submitted by PT Maybank Indonesia Tbk against PT Pan Brothers (PBRX).

Maybank filed a PKPU lawsuit against PBRX to the Jakarta District Court on Monday (24/5/2021) with case number 245 / Pdt.Sus-PKPU / 2021 / PN Jkt.Pst.

"The first session was Monday (31/5/2021)," was written on the official website of the Central Jakarta District Court.

Maybank, in the petitum of their claim, asked the panel of judges to grant a number of their requests. First, grant PKPU to Pan Brothers (PBRX). Second, establish PBRX in PKPU status for 45 days from the time the verdict is pronounced.

Third, appointing Supervisory Judges from Commercial Judges at the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court to supervise PT Pan Brothers TBK's Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) process.

Fourth, appoint and appoint Ray Winata, Joel Baner Hendrik Toendan, and David Togap Marsaor as the board of the Pan Brothers lPKPU. Fifth, to determine the trial which is a deliberation meeting of judges to hear the Supervisory Judge's report on the progress achieved during the provisional PKPU process no later than the 45th day.

Sixth, ordering the management team to summon PT Pan Brothers TBK and creditors known by registered mail or via courier, to appear before the trial.

PBRX is a textile and textile product (TPT) company whose business has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Some time ago, a number of workers in Central Java held demonstrations related to the holiday allowance.
