Governor of West Java (Jabar) Ridwan Kamil together with Forkopimda Jabar conducted inspections of two textile factories in Bandung Regency, Saturday (10/7). An inspection was carried out to ensure that the rules for the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) were implemented.
One of the Emergency PPKM regulations is that export-oriented industries that enter the essential sector can operate with a maximum capacity of 50 percent in production facilities or factories. Meanwhile, operational support office areas are only allowed a maximum of 10 percent of staff.
However, during an inspection at PT Daliatex Kusuma, Kang Emil - as Ridwan Kamil is called - found employees whose Work From Office (WFO) exceeds 50 percent capacity.
"The results were found to have reduced, but not obeyed the rules or more than 50 percent of the WFO," said Kang Emil.
According to Kang Emil, his party immediately reprimanded the company's leadership to obey the 50 percent WFO rule. "Although the verification results have been reduced, I remind them to follow the 50 percent rule," he said.
Violations were also found during an inspection at PT Candratex Sejati. The company is still doing 100 percent WFO. He immediately gave strict sanctions according to applicable regulations.
"In the second factory there was a violation and legal action will be taken according to the rules, this is Kajati who is guarding it because the employees are still 100 percent," he said.
Kang Emil emphasized that even though the company was export-oriented and had an Industrial Activity Mobility and Operational Permit (IOMKI) document, it still had to comply with the regulations in the Emergency PPKM.
"I understand, but the employees are still 100 percent. We will continue to emphasize that we will comb the workplaces," he said.
Because according to Kang Emil, if the company does not comply with the Emergency PPKM rules, it will be difficult to reduce community mobility.
"Why should mobility be reduced because the scenario without Emergency PPKM our curve is high. But with Emergency PPKM it will be sloping," he said
