PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) decided to abandon its intention to issue bonds or bonds worth US $ 325 million. PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk's Finance Director, Allan Moran Severino, revealed that his party had decided to postpone the plan to issue new debt securities denominated in US dollars which would be offered to investors outside the territory of Indonesia.

"This is done by considering the unsupportive market conditions," he said, in an information disclosure, in Jakarta. The company previously intended to issue debt securities guaranteed by the company's subsidiaries, namely PT Sinar Pantja Djaja, PT Bitratex Industries and PT Primayudha Mandirijaya with a principal amount of up to USD325 million.

As information, in today's trading, SRIL's shares fell 3.6% or 8 points to the position of IDR214 per share from IDR222 per share. The weakening was in line with the rate of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) parked in the red zone with a correction of 2.12% to the level of 5,979.39 at the close of session II, Friday, January 28, 2021. Throughout this day, the JCI was under pressure and fell to its deepest level. at 5,957.55.
