The 'textile factory' at the Class I Rutan in Surakarta has again received orders to produce school uniform batik clothes. "After receiving orders for Gody bags, T-shirts, we again received orders to make 3,000 pcs of school clothes batik. Production is running, the first week of January must be completed and immediately sent to the customer," explained Karutan Class I Surakarta, Urip Dharma Yoga, Monday ( 27/12). He explained that all orders were carried out by correctional inmates (WBP) who had previously received special BLK training.


He explained that since the Garment Factory was first established in the detention center, orders have continued to flow. This certainly makes the skills of the inmates who work more skilled and honed.

"Every time I receive an order, I always pressure the WBP to work diligently without thinking about income first. That way, any knowledge they get from working in the detention center can be used as capital when they are free.


It can be used to work in a factory or to start your own business," explained Urip Dharma Yoga, who was previously a Class II Karutan in Wonogiri.

After being in the detention center, he was able to establish a garment factory, continued Urip, his institution received three awards before the turn of the year.

Among other things, technical implementation units that have human rights-based public service standards.

The award received by Rutan Class I Surakarta was the fastest in collecting LHKASN and LHKPN for UPT in the Kanwil Kememkumham Central Java.

And won a certificate of appreciation from the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights, namely the top 5 UPT Kemenkumham spread throughout Indonesia in carrying out human rights-based public services.
