Textile issuer, PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS) said that it would continue to expand its business in 2023, even though this was done with more caution. Kresna Wilendrata, Corporate Legal at Trisula International, said that one of TRIS's business focuses next year is to maintain and maintain existing customers in the export market. The strategy implemented by TRIS is through the development of made-to-order garment products. "Products like this require us to be flexible in planning production and procurement," he said, Friday (11/25).

So far, TRIS supplies a variety of garment products such as blazers, suits and casual plants for international brands as well as being involved in the procurement of uniforms for international-level aviation, hotels, hospitals and public service institutions.

Just so you know, TRIS' export sales per quarter III-2022 were recorded at IDR 711.92 billion, up 45% year on year (YoY). TRIS's main export destinations are the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Britain and Japan.

Since the beginning of this year, TRIS has received significant export requests especially from existing customers. This is proof of TRIS' ability to compete in the international textile industry thanks to its product export experience for more than 30 years.

In general, TRIS assesses that the prospects for export sales next year are still very open, although on the other hand this company must increase vigilance against the threat of a global economic recession and the uncertainty of the Russia-Ukraine geopolitical conflict.

"Although next year the situation will be more challenging, we believe the company can still grow," Kresna added without mentioning TRIS' performance target for next year.

TRIS will also continue to strengthen its business performance in the domestic market. Because global economic uncertainty is still lurking, the Indonesian economy is seen as still strong and capable of positive growth. As a result, the sales potential in the domestic market is quite promising.

Just for the record, the domestic market contributed sales to TRIS of IDR 332.49 billion, up 19% (YoY) per quarter III-2022.

Therefore, apart from maintaining sales offline, TRIS has also started to boost sales online. In this case, TRIS has developed the Yukshopping.com marketplace to market the company's textile products. In addition, various Trisula Group products are also marketed through a number of e-commerce platforms in the country.

Not only that, TRIS will also increase efficiency efforts to cover rising costs. "We also have to seek business flexibility because of the increase in the inflation rate," he said.
