Indonesia Fashion Week 2023 presents a new color this year, by displaying a variety of the latest fashion breakthroughs, one of which is a halal-certified textile woven fabric called KainHalal. KainHalal is the first nationally Halal-certified textile in the world and exhibited at Indonesia Fashion Week 2023. After successfully launching the KainHalal™️ brand at IFW 2022, this year KainHalal™️ returns to the grand event of Indonesia Fashion Week 2023, as one of the highlights with the theme "Supporting Halal Fashion Industry with KainHalal™️"
At IFW 2023, KainHalal™️ is collaborating with 9 Fashion Designers to launch modest fashion clothing products, mukenas, sarongs, koko shirts and religious paraphernalia.
KainHalal™️ is produced by PT. MilangKori Persada is made from natural regenerated cellulose fiber originating from SERBIKA (Cotton Seed Fiber), which is very smooth and soft, shiny like silk but has the advantage of being cool to wear and this fiber easily decomposes in the soil so it is very environmentally friendly.
Main Director of PT. MilangKori Persada Fitriani Kuroda who is also the Founder and CEO of KainHalal™️ explained that KainHalal™️ has officially been certified Halal from BPJPH with number (ID 00210000219250521) this step is to support Indonesia's strategy to become the World Muslim Fashion Qibla, and become a reference for textile raw materials for the Halal Fashion Industry, then it is time for fashion products to be included in the 5 sectors of the Global Halal Industry.
Thus our efforts are to support the government's hope that Indonesia will become the world's largest producer of Halal products, not just the largest consumer.
The certification process for KainHalal™️ carried out by PT MilangKori Persada starts from inspection of the raw materials for the warp and weft threads used, which must be certified as free from animal and unclean elements, the flow of the weaving production process, the machine tools used, the lubricating oil used as well as the factory conditions and storage of raw materials all threads have passed the LPPOM MUI audit, this is to ensure that Muslims and all users of KainHalal™️ will feel safe and secure.
