A textile company in Kontakmacan, Sragen, pays holiday allowances (THR) in installments. 50% payment is made H-7, while the rest is paid in two stages in May and June. This decision was taken after the textile company conducted bipartite negotiations with employees and unions. Apart from THR, the negotiations also discussed the Eid holiday. Responding to this, the Head of Industrial Relations at the Sragen Manpower Service (Disnaker), Sunar, said that the company and its employees agreed on the decision. Based on the result of the negotiations submitted to the Sragen Manpower Office, he continued, the negotiations resulted in an agreement regarding the Eid holidays starting April 9-May 23 2023 with the provision that workers are not paid or no work no pay.

The letter also explains the agreement between the two parties regarding the granting of THR 2023 at 50% no later than seven days before Eid. The remaining 50% will be paid twice in May and June 2023 at 25% per month each.

The letter also explained the reasons for giving THR in installments, namely because the company's condition was not yet stable, the sales market was still quiet, which resulted in production not being 100% running. "Actually, the provision of THR in installments is not in accordance with the Circular [SE of the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) No. M/2/KH.04.00/III/2023 concerning Implementation of 2023 Religious THR for Workers/Labourers in Companies], but both parties have agreed that it's okay," said Sunar, Tuesday (11/4/ 2023).

On the other hand, Sunar said that the Manpower Office had long since opened the THR Complaint Post and until Tuesday no complaints had come in. Sunar also monitored the four companies in Sragen and the results were in accordance with the SE.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the 1992 Sragen Indonesian Prosperous Trade Union (SBSI) DPC, Joko Supriyanto, said that related to the provision of THR in installments, there were still attempts by members of the 1992 Sragen SBSI who were employees of the company to clarify this to the personnel department.

"Yesterday there were those who agreed to pay the THR in installments and I have conveyed the results to the Manpower Office. The possibility of THR for employees of other textile companies is also like that. We object because it is not in accordance with the Circular of the Minister of Manpower," he said.
