PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) expanded the market in the West Java region by opening a Sharia Service Unit Sub-Branch Office (KCP ULS) at the Cimahi Sub-Branch Office (KCP) BCA Building, Jalan Cimahi 533, Cimahi City. President Director of BCA Syariah Yuli Melati Suryaningrum said, "The presence of BCA Syariah in Cimahi is the company's strategy to increase the growth of low-cost funds and expand access to Islamic banking services in the West Java region.

"The presence of BCA Syariah in Cimahi is part of the company's strategy to increase sustainable performance through organic growth," said Yuli quoted on Friday, April 14, 2023.

The operation of BCA Syariah KCP ULS Cimahi has increased the number of BCA Syariah branch offices to 74 branch offices throughout Indonesia, including 4 branch offices currently in Bandung and its surroundings.

Yuli also revealed that BCA Syariah sees the potential for business development in Cimahi City, which is known as the textile industrial area. "We hope that the presence of BCA Syariah can contribute to the economic development of Cimahi City," said Yuli.

In the first quarter of 2023, BCA Syariah assets grew by 16.3% on an annual basis (Year on Year/YoY) or was recorded at IDR 12.5 trillion.

BCA Syariah's asset growth was supported by an increase in DPK which was recorded at 20% YoY of IDR 9.2 trillion with a composition of low-cost funds reaching 38.1%.

"We are targeting asset growth in the range of 9-11% at the end of 2023," said Yuli.

Going forward, BCA Syariah will remain focused on increasing the acquisition of low-cost funds with a strategy of increasing IT capabilities and developing delivery channels as well as expanding and measurable financing distribution while prioritizing the principle of prudence.
