Determining the transitional status from pandemic to endemic has a positive impact on company operations in Indonesia. This was conveyed by the Chairperson of the Indonesian Filament Yarn Producers Association (APSyFI), Redma Gita Wirawasta. In this situation, companies can be more effective in carrying out their work because they are no longer hampered by strict regulations such as those imposed when Indonesia was still in a pandemic status.

"Restrictive conditions, such as faster business travel and looser rules at factories, will become a reality. Global economic disruptions and a decline in export orders have made the domestic market the last hope for the domestic industry to keep growing," said Redma to Investor Daily, recently.

Nonetheless, Redma acknowledged that the domestic industry is still facing challenges from a decline in global orders and threats of imported products in the domestic market. Therefore, the domestic market needs to be widely opened for local products and protected from invasion by imported products.

Meanwhile, the business world in general is ready to carry out post-pandemic business activities. However, the current challenge is the global situation which has been disrupted due to the prolonged Russian-Ukrainian war.
