BI West Java held the 2023 West Java Economic Society Workshop in the Sasana Gunung Jati Room, BI Cirebon Office with the theme 'Strengthening Industry in the Rebana Area in the Context of Encouraging Price Stability'. According to West Java BI Head Bambang Pramono, the consumer price index inflation in June 2023 was recorded at 0.14 percent on a monthly basis. In the context of industrial strengthening, the Rebana area has enormous potential for industrial development with an export orientation. By strengthening the industry in the Rebana area, it is expected to encourage price stability.

This strengthening is also expected to make a positive contribution to economic growth and increased employment in the Cayumajakuning area.

One of the investment potentials in the Ciayumajakuning area includes the textile industry development sector by becoming a center for quality textile and garment production.

In addition, the food industry sector is also a concern in the development of the Rebana area.

With a wealth of natural resources and agricultural products, there is great potential to develop an innovative and quality food processing industry.

This will add value to local products and open up wider export opportunities.

Local governments and related agencies also pay special attention to supporting industrial sectors, such as transportation infrastructure, energy and logistics.

Increased accessibility and efficiency in the distribution of industrial products will be important factors in promoting price stability and product competitiveness.

In this effort, BI plays an active role in maintaining exchange rate stability and controlling inflation in the Rebana area.
