Cipadu Market is one of the largest textile centers in Tangerang. This market is a paradise for fabric lovers. Various textiles, ranging from materials to ready-made clothes, sheets, bed covers, curtains and tablecloths, are all available at Cipadu Market. Unfortunately, now the market is empty of visitors. Based on detikcom monitoring at the location, Tuesday (3/10/2023), at 11.30 WIB the activity of the textile market located along Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim is very quiet. This can be seen from the lack of visitors surrounding the market area.

As far as the eye could see, there was no visible buying and selling activity from either buyers or traders. There were only shops with textiles displayed in the hot sun.

Entering the market area, you can see the shops in this area are neatly arranged. Most shops sell various types of textile materials which are displayed at the front of the shop. There were only one or two visitors passing by in the market area. This condition makes the market very quiet and silent.

In fact, this is different from markets in general where sellers offer their wares as visitors pass by, when traveling around this area detikcom found traders just sitting in their respective shops.

"Yes, it's very quiet, sometimes there are no sellers. Just look at the many (shopkeepers) just sitting, in the past it wasn't really like this," said one shopkeeper named Siti.

Not only are there no visitors, at several points the market also looks empty of sellers. This can be seen from the number of shops that are closed, especially in the Aryamatex Kospin Jasa Wholesale Center area.

Along the corridor in this area, detikcom found many closed shops. This condition shows how the Cipadu Tangerang Market is starting to be abandoned by buyers.

"Here, there are also many shops that have closed behind them. Yes, they have closed because there are no sellers. There are also many shop employees who have been fired because their bosses can't afford to pay their salaries," concluded Siti.
