One of the textile industry work units in the weaving section of PT Kusuma Hadi Santoso located at Jalan Lawu Km 9, Jaten, Karanganyar caught fire, Saturday (12/6/2021) at 06.50 WIB.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but five fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the blaze.

on Saturday (12/6/2021) during the weekend or weekend at around 06.50 WIB, the Office of the Satpol PP Damkar Linmas Pemkab Karanganyar, Central Java received a report about the fire.

A moment later it only took eight minutes, the fire brigade team from Karanganyar arrived at the location and immediately struggled to extinguish the red rooster.

Considering that the fire was blazing in the weaving unit, spraying had to be carried out in all directions, namely spraying from above and spraying from below.

It took about 10 minutes to finally extinguish the fire even though smoke was billowing around the textile factory.

Not many people know about the fire because the weaving unit room is tightly closed like a warehouse, so the fire doesn't spread to the residents' villages.

The Head of the Fire and Safety Committee of the Karanganyar Regency, Budi Cahyono, S.Sos, said that until the fire was extinguished, the cause of the fire was still unknown because the weaving unit had lots of textile machinery.

Fortunately, the incident occurred in the morning before the shift change so that the shift employee had gone home and would be replaced by the afternoon shift employee.

"As soon as we got the report, our team moved very quickly and it took less than 10 minutes to arrive at the location," he said.

According to Budi Cahyono, the fire was carried out extra from above and below so that the fire was extinguished quickly, considering that textile machinery installations are prone to spread in the event of a fire.

Until now, Budi Cahyono continued, the company is still investigating the origin of the fire, namely whether it was an electrical short circuit or human error.

The losses cannot be stated because the weaving unit is a unit for processing yarn into fabric, so apart from machines, there are many yarns in large quantities.
