PT Quty Karunia (Quty) has officially installed PLTS Roof at its factory located in Purwakarta, West Java. This is a textile factory that produces soft toys for retail company IKEA Indonesia. The implementation of New & Renewable Energy (EBT) carried out by Quty is a form of corporate responsibility in suppressing the acceleration of climate change, as well as supporting global carbon emission reduction programs in the future. A total of 686 solar panels installed on the roof of the factory are capable of producing 434,095 kWh every year. So that apart from being able to save operational costs, the development and use of renewable energy is also the company's effort to reduce the use of fossil energy and reduce CO2 production to 405.444 kg annually.

PT Quty Karunia's Compliance Manager, Budhi Irawan said that it was a shared responsibility, including to suppress the acceleration of climate change through the use of clean energy.

"Because one of the values ​​of our company is running a business that is not only related to economic value, but also has added value for the environment and also socially," said Budhi in Jakarta, Friday (27/5).

As a developer of Rooftop PLTS installation without investment costs, Xurya Daya appreciates the steps taken by Quty in implementing clean energy in its operational activities.

Eka Himawan, Managing Director of Xurya Daya assessed that now various parties including investors and consumers are increasingly critical in assessing business based on environmental, social and governance credentials.
