PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (“BELL”), an issuer of quality fabrics, uniforms, and fashion products, will expand this year. BELL will add about 10 points of its retail sales under the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands. The addition of this point of sale is one of BELL's strategies to increase turnover and expand the BELL retail market network in 2022. The retail segment's performance in the first quarter of 2022 posted positive results with revenue of Rp24.3 billion and an increase of 38.8% compared to the first quarter of 2021. BELL is optimistic that the performance of this retail segment will continue to improve until H1-2022, especially with the momentum of Hari Raya in Quarter II-2022.

Heru Jatmiko Harrianto as Director of BELL said, "In order to take advantage of the post-covid momentum that has led to an endemic, where shopping passion and consumer demand have increased quite high, BELL through its Subsidiaries plans to add about 10 retail sales points that can contribute to additional sales. turnover of around IDR 10 billion in 2022. Through this expansion, BELL also hopes to increase market share for the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands.”

This expansion is of course supported by products that are the result of integration and collaboration between the Company as a fabric manufacturer and affiliated companies under the TRIS Group, in producing, ranging from fabrics, garments, to finished products.

As it is known that the Company is a textile company with more than 50 years of experience and has had various variants of fabric innovations, each with its own advantages. Until now, the Company continues to be committed to creating varied and competitive products.

Although the retail segment's performance improved, BELL's total net sales decreased by 13.8% YoY in Q1-2022. This decline was mainly due to a significant decline in sales of the uniform segment in the first quarter of 2022, where this segment was still affected by the delay in the uniform procurement project due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, BELL is optimistic that the uniform segment's performance will increase in H2-2022, where the budget for the procurement of uniforms for the private and government sectors is predicted to be realized.

The projected increase in uniform demand is certainly in line with the national and global economic recovery, as well as the easing of social restrictions that are increasingly felt by the increasing business of aviation, tourism, hotels, restaurants and other lifestyle sectors.
