Consumption is a supporting factor for Indonesia's economic growth. This was stated by the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan at the Indonesia Retail Summit press conference, recently."I welcome the Indonesian Discount Shopping Day which will take place in August 2022 so that it can encourage the level of national consumption and encourage economic growth," said the Minister who is familiarly called Zulhas, Sunday (17/7/2022).

He also emphasized the great potential of the Indonesian textile trade sector, for that it must be fully supported.

"Indonesian retail and shopping centers are no less great than foreign ones, plus our local products and MSMEs are very potential, especially in the textile trade sector," he said.

"I invite HIPPINDO colleagues to fully support domestic products during the Indonesian Discount Shopping Day," he continued.
