The composite stock price index or JCI tends to be stagnant amidst the wait for the announcement of the BI reference rate (BI7DRRR). The index closed the session at the level of 7,017.2, strengthening 0.04 percent lower than the closing figure on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 7,014.3. As of the end of today's first trading session, 211 stocks rose, while 290 fell, and 192 were stagnant. "The transaction value reached IDR 5.7 trillion, the trading frequency was 721,468 times and the trading volume was 110.7 million lots," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia's team of analysts, Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

The shares of textile issuer Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) have soared today after dropping more than 25 percent since November 8. As well as being the most actively traded stock in the first session of the day, with a transaction frequency of 43,343 times, followed by ZATA (32,243) and UFOE (20,866).

In terms of volume, PBRX shares were also the most traded in the first session of the day. The volume reached 8.3 million lots, followed by BUMI (8.1 million) and BIPI (6.7 million).

There were three sectoral indices that managed to close the first trading session in the green zone. Namely the financial sector index (IDXFINANCE) experienced the highest gain of 0.79 percent. "Followed by the cyclical consumer sector index (IDXCYCLIC) rose 0.63 percent and the infrastructure sector index (IDXINFRA) rose 0.06 percent," said the analyst.

Meanwhile, the basic industry sector index (IDXBASIC) became a sectoral index that closed the first session of the day with the deepest drop of 1.08 percent. Followed by the energy sector index (IDXENERGY) fell 0.93 percent and the health sector index (IDXHEALTH) fell 0.68 percent.

- TRIS (up 19.2 percent to IDR 248 per share)

- PTSP (up 18.2 percent to IDR 4,020 per share)

- MICE (up 14.5 percent to IDR 550 per share)

- PNLF (up 11.6 percent to IDR 480 per share)

 

Meanwhile, the five stocks that entered the list of top losers in the first session today are:

- BIMA (decreased 6.9 percent to IDR 173 per share)

- OASA (decreased 6.9 percent to IDR 865 per share)

- SDPC (decreased 6.9 percent to IDR 160 per share)

- KOIN (decreased 6.9 percent to IDR 148 per share)

- NICK (down 6.9 percent to IDR 270 per share)
