The KPK again summoned the Ministry of Industry's Director of Industry, Textiles, Leather and Footwear, Adie Rochmanto Pandiangan. Investigators had originally asked for information as a witness in the alleged corruption case in the processing of metal anodes at PT. Aneka Tambang (Antam) and PT Loco Montrado in 2017. "Today is the examination of witnesses. The examination is being carried out at the Corruption Eradication Commission office," said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in a written statement, Monday (20/2).

On February 13, 2023, investigators summoned Adie. However, the KPK did not disclose whether the person concerned was present or not.

General Manager of PT Antam's Metal Management and Refining Business Unit, Dodi Mar Consider, is the sole suspect in this case. This problem began when PT Antam's Precious Metals Management and Refining Business Unit executed a contract of work related to the refining of raw gold with several companies.

Dodi did not use the services of a company that had signed an agreement but appointed PT Lico Montrado. The decision was taken unilaterally without reporting to the board of directors.

There were several irregularities in the selection of PT Loco Montrado. First, the company does not have the same experience or technical capabilities as PT Antam in managing metal anodes. It is also known that PT Loco Montado does not have an international certificate.

Another oddity is that the contract was made with a postponed date. PT Loco Montrado is also suspected of exporting metal anodes with low gold content.

Based on BPK's calculations, there was a state financial loss of IDR 100.7 billion.
