Garbage or waste is one of the problems that is present and always a concern every day. Used goods, garbage, and industrial waste can be used as useful goods if they are processed into a unique, interesting, creative, and innovative craft. The processed waste is industrial waste and plastic waste. One of the industrial wastes that can be processed is denim patchwork in the Craft Collect home industry. Patchwork waste is one type of waste that is difficult to process because patchwork waste is organic waste that is not easily decomposed, so it cannot be composted. Fabric waste that is processed by burning will produce smoke and toxic gases that harm the environment.

Besides denim patchwork industrial waste, there is also non-biodegradable plastic waste.

The presence of plastic waste is a threat to the environment to the economy. The impact is serious enough that it is necessary to raise awareness to deal with one of the environmental problems. Plastic waste may seem simple, but in fact the unorganized spread of plastic waste from year to year can damage many habitats, including the sea, land, and become air pollutants.

Waste reduction can be done with a recycling program. Utilization of waste products with a simple process and available materials is an opportunity for business development. Limited capital but has a high selling value can help improve the community's economy.
