PT Daliatex Kusuma again collaborated with local brands to develop the Indonesian fashion industry. The results of this collaboration will be held at Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week 2023 which will be held at ICE BSD, October 20-22, 2022. “Daliatex has been supporting and collaborating with local Indonesian brands for more than 10 years. In recent years, the fashion industry in Indonesia continues to show rapid development. We are very proud to be able to witness and be part of the development of these brands and are now appearing in the program of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week 2023," said Marketing Executive of PT Daliatex Kusuma Devina Unjoto.

At Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2022, this textile company from Bandung which has been established since 1965 is collaborating with local brands Klamby, Deenay, Restu Anggraini, and Kami.

Daliatex, explained Devina, has a vision to always provide the best for its customers by prioritizing innovation and creativity. The leading fabric producer in this flower city has the principle that globalizing Indonesia's modest fashion is a goal that must be achieved together.

To realize this dream, Daliatex provides a research and development center specifically built to create quality fabrics according to the needs of fashion brands that are partners.

"We believe that this combination will make Daliatex and its customers a trend leader in the fashion industry, not just being followers," said Devina.

Devina also believes that the continuity between the brand's creativity and the modern facilities owned by Daliatex can advance Indonesia's modest fashion to the international level.

"Daliatex believes that fabrics play an important role in determining the DNA and identity of a fashion brand. One of Daliatex's superior fabrics is Ultrafine, a hijab material that is widely used by leading hijab brands. To create Ultrafine, Daliatex must go through a very long process and full of trial and error. and error, to finally produce fabrics that are in great demand in the modest fashion market," said Devina.

Sabai Inspiration to Roses

Meanwhile, designer Restu Anggraini in collaboration with Daliatex carries the theme 'Sabai'. "Sabai is adapted from the folklore of West Sumatra, Sabai Nan Aluih, a princess who is gentle, has a noble character and has a beauty that exudes a strong female aura," said Restu Anggraini.

The warm feminine touch and the softness of the look of this collection are implied in the layered or layering designs using satin, chiffon, and poly-linen with A-Line and flowy silhouettes.

"The floral motif displays pastel colors using a hand painting application technique on each petal. This hand painting is not only applied to the surface of the patterned material to add an embossed and shiny effect, but also to the layers of the flower petals so as to soften and enrich the overall look, " said Rest.

The Klamby brand carries the theme 'The Tudor Rose'. The name of this collection is taken from the favorite flower of Queen Elizabeth I. The Tudor Rose is also England's National flower in the history of the War of the Roses.

Klamby chose the collection of 'The Tudor Rose' inspired by one of the archipelago's wastra (fabric) which attracted attention because of its appearance that looks different compared to other wastra that is familiar to the public. The wastra is Garut Silk Feather Weaving. The attractive texture, various decorations, and various colors add to the attractiveness of the fabric woven with silk thread using Non-Machine Weaving Equipment (ATBM).
