The upheaval in the textile industry and textile products (TPT Industry) is not over yet. After many layoffs since 2022, now this labor-intensive industry has been hit by a wave of "going out of business".

Chairperson of the Indonesian Filament Fiber and Yarn Association (APSyFi), Redma Gita Wirawasta, confirmed the condition of a number of companies that were still laying off workers and even had to stop production. Meanwhile, for companies that are still operating, their utilization is still low, around 30-40%.
