The governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, released exports of around 400 tons of yarn to India and Brazil. Ganjar said, the release of this export marked the trade sector starting to increase again after the Covid-19 pandemic. This export release is expected to trigger other factories to continue to look for export markets. This was conveyed by Ganjar after symbolically releasing 5 containers of yarn from PT Duniatex Group at the PT Duniatex Group factory complex, Demak, Tuesday (18/7/2023). There are 17 containers with a total of around 400 tons of yarn, worth around 1 million USD or Rp. 14.9 billion.

"That means, trade is starting to improve, factories are starting to revive and now exports are starting to take off."

"Of course there are many other sectors like this," he said, Tuesday (18/7/2023).

The Governor is proud of the export activities carried out.

This proves the success of the textile industry which has survived the storm of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The textile industry is not easy to survive, so Duniatex is trying to show its capacity as a professional company to survive," he said.

Therefore, Ganjar encourages textile industry players to continue to increase exports, while opening new markets in other major countries.

"So we reminded you earlier to be able to look for new markets whether this is yarn."

"Whether tomorrow is cloth or other finished products and of course the relationship is important to maintain the resilience of the company itself," he said.

Ganjar also advised industry players to maintain good relations with workers.

So that this difficult condition can be overcome together.

"Later, when the economy recovers, it will also be enjoyed together."

"So it's hard to enjoy together, when it's good to enjoy it together."

"So we hope this is part of the spirit to be able to revive on the economic side," he said.t
