The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) is currently compiling a list of 10 items of imported goods under US$ 100 that are included in the positive list or permitted to enter directly across borders via e-commerce. Director of Trade Through Electronic Systems and Services Trade, Directorate General of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Trade, Rifan Ardianto, said that his party will announce the positive list this October. Unfortunately, Rifan cannot confirm which imported goods are allowed to enter directly across borders via e-commerce. This discussion is still being coordinated with the relevant Ministries/Institutions.

“This month's positive list will be completed. We can't say for sure yet because this is still being discussed. "Because every sector is still being discussed," said Rifan in a media briefing, Thursday (12/10).

Even so, according to him, the positive list that the government will allow will not be large, or a maximum of 10 items. What is clear is that the permitted goods are certainly products that cannot be produced in Indonesia, and will not interfere with products made by MSMEs.

Previously, the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop-UKM) Teten Masduki revealed that the products that would be included in the positive list were electronic products, textiles and textile products, cosmetics, children's toys and shoes.

Because, according to him, these products are products whose import the government is currently regulating.

"There are no specific products yet, but we regulated yesterday such as electronic products, textiles and textile products, cosmetics, children's toys and shoes. "That's what we have regulated and tightened imports, yes, those are also around the products (which are on the positive list)," said Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki, Wednesday (11/10).
