One of the national textile industries, PT Pan Brothers Tbk, began facilitating vaccinations for employees using the first phase of the Mutual Cooperation Vaccine for 3,000 people.

"The employees who have been proposed for the first stage of mutual cooperation vaccination are 3,000 people, but the allocation is only 1,000," said Corporate Secretary of Pan Brothers Iswardeni in a statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.

He said, the priority in the first stage of vaccination were employees at supervisor level and above, because they had a high level of mobility in the field to manage production operations and employees.

In addition, employees who are at the forefront, such as the security forces of the COVID-19 Task Force, personnel including officials of the Workers' Union. For the next stage, the vaccine will be given to production employees and the office.

According to him, the company prepared a number of budgets that were adjusted to the price set by the government for 3,000 people in the first phase.

Meanwhile, the purchase price for the Sinopfarm vaccine is IDR 321,660 per dose; and the maximum tariff for vaccination services is Rp. 117,910 per dose. Thus, the price for one vaccine is IDR 439,570 per dose.

"Because our company is a labor-intensive company and must maintain the continuity of the company's operations, it is necessary to accelerate the implementation of vaccinations as well as to assist the government in accelerating the prevention of the spread of COVID-19," said Iswardeni.

He added that there was no change in the company's production target before and after vaccination.

The company has registered 31,370 employees or 64,350, including family members, to take the COVID-19 vaccine. The company is one of 22,736 companies that register vaccines through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).
