Continuing to be committed to providing solutions and services to global garment industry players and customers, Cotton Council International (CCI) continues to run the COTTON USA™ licensing program.

CCI under the National Cotton Council of America (NCC), is a non-profit organization that promotes US cotton fiber and cotton products manufactured worldwide under the COTTON USA™ trademark.

CCI works with spinning mills, fabric and garment manufacturers, brands, retailers, textile organizations, governments, and the USDA to facilitate the use of US cotton.

CCI currently has reached more than 50 countries through 20 offices around the world, including Indonesia.

Licensees may use the COTTON USA™ label to highlight US cotton products throughout the supply chain and retail.

To qualify as a COTTON USA™ licensee, all licensees (manufacturers, manufacturers, wholesalers, supply companies, brands and/or retailers) must use more than 50% of US cotton in their products (garments, home textile products and non-woven).

“We are always committed to providing support and innovation to all industry players. Examples include the COTTON USA™ licensing program, COTTON USA SOLUTIONS® to the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol®. These innovations are expected to support the country's textile industry to continue to advance and develop," said Anh Dung (Andy) Do, CCI representative in Indonesia.

Through this licensing program, COTTON USA™ supports partners with a variety of value-added services such as COTTON USA SOLUTIONS®.

Five business development programs to enhance skills have been delivered to more than 1,500 factories in 50 factories across the country.

Mill Studies

Has a lot of information and knowledge about Mill.

Five solutions from CCI are ready to be deployed free of charge to COTTON USA™ licensees and U.S. members. Cotton Trust Protocol®.

On the other hand, through the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol® industry players can prove, measure and verify that they are buying quality and sustainably produced fiber, and that the supply chain from the field to the mill is free from environmental and social risks.

This has been measured with the Fieldprint Calculator, and verified with Control Union Certifications equipped with the best technology.

All of these initiatives and programs aim to assist and support local entrepreneurs in the industry in Indonesia in developing their businesses, especially in the midst of a pandemic.

"A good understanding of the importance of using quality cotton will of course also help local entrepreneurs make adjustments to their business and keep up with changing trends to stay relevant to market demand," said Andy.
