The Covid-19 Task Force in Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency, carried out a surprise inspection at two textile factories on Jalan Raya Bandung - Garut, precisely in Cimanggung District, Friday (25/6/2021). These two factories are considered to have violated the principles of handling the pandemic.

The Cimanggung District Covid-19 Task Force Team visited PT Choigong Textile Indonesia and PT Deise Textile Indonesia, Friday (25/6/2021).

Cimanggung sub-district head Dikdik Syeh Rizki said the two companies had violated health protocols. Because, he said, in the two companies there was no Covid-19 Task Force Team, and the facilities and infrastructure at the two textile factories did not meet the requirements.

The absence of these two things is a violation of principle in handling the Covid-19 pandemic. If there is a positive case of Covid-19 in the industrial cluster, the impact can be even greater

"The two factories have violated the Sumedang Perbup Number 61/2021 concerning health protocols and the application of Micro PPKM. We will give a warning to the two factories first. If they persist, they will be given strict sanctions," said Dikdik.

Dikdik appealed to all industries in the Cimanggung area to be proactive in preventing Covid-19.

"I appeal to all industries in Cimanggung to be proactive. This is to prevent clusters of Covid-19 transmission in the industrial sector," he said.
