PT Ever Shine Tex Tbk (ESTI) posted a positive financial performance in the first six months of this year. Launching the ESTI financial report released on Tuesday (11/8), this textile trading company posted sales of US$ 14.93 million in the first half of 2021.

This revenue grew 13.97% from sales realization in the same period the previous year of US$ 13.10 million. ESTI's domestic sales reached US$ 9.95 million. Meanwhile, export sales amounted to US$ 4.98 million.

Ever Shine's domestic sales increased by 12.26%. Meanwhile, export sales grew 17.53% from sales realization in the same period the previous year.

The increase in sales was accompanied by an increase in cost of goods sold by 10.10%, from US$ 11.93 million in the first semester of 2020 to US$ 13.13 million. This lower increase in expenses caused ESTI's gross profit to soar higher.

Ever Shine Tex scored a 53.26% increase in gross profit to US$ 1.80 million at the end of last June. Meanwhile, in the same period last year, ESTI's gross profit was only US$ 1.17 million.

As of June 30, 2021, ESTI's selling expenses swelled by 79.21% on an annual basis to US$ 679,347. Even so, ESTI was able to cut expenses on general and administrative expenses by 9.91% to US$ 620,156 and financial expenses fell 27.23% to US$ 594,113.

So that Ever Shine Tex's net profit shot up 1,080.60% to US$ 634,238 in the first half of 2021.
