A big surprise was presented by PT Mitra Kreasi Garmen (MILLS Sport) at the moment of the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Not wanting to be known as a brand that only produces apparel, now MILLS presents a new product line.

August 2021, MILLS officially entered the sports shoe industry, which was created from innovation and sincerity with the determination to provide the best quality for sports lovers in the country.

“Since three years since MILLS was founded, we have learned a lot. It started when collaborating with PSSI to become the apparel of the Indonesian national team, until it was shaken by the Covid-19 pandemic," said CEO of MILLS Sport Indonesia, Tjia Kong Hau.

However, the pandemic has taught MILLS to continue to innovate without stopping. This determination made MILLS launch its new business line, namely MILLS footwear.

In its new product, MILLS launched one type of shoe, namely Treximo Omega, with various color choices: white gold, black gold, black neon green, and ocean blue. These cool shoes, which are priced at Rp. 349 thousand, can be found at the MILLS official store or online.

“Versatile, simple and performance. That's the main strength of Treximo Omega," said Tjia Kong Hau.

Prior to entering the footwear business, MILLS was known as the official apparel of the Indonesian national team and also collaborated with several clubs such as Bhayangkara Solo FC, North Sulawesi United FC, PSG Pati, and Dewa United FC. Outside of football, Bali United Basketball Club has also established itself as a partner of Mills.

Not only that, MILLS has also entered the European football scene as a partner of Tranmere Rovers, a club with a long history in English football that was founded in 1884. Producing jerseys and apparel for the team nicknamed 'Super White Army' shows MILLS' determination to promote the work of the nation's children.

"In line with the vision of President Joko Widodo [Jokowi] who coined the tagline 'Proud to be Made in Indonesia' and so that Indonesian products can speak at a global level, MILLS continues to strive to produce the best creations to prove that the work of the nation's children is not inferior in quality to foreign products."

“In the near future, we will launch football and futsal shoes. We hope that in the future all MILLS products can meet the needs of national sports equipment and can export to overseas.”

The new MILLS breakthrough was welcomed by footballers such as Renan da Silva, Nadeo Argawinata, Marcell Januar Putra, and Safira Ika Putri.

“When I heard that MILLS wanted to make shoes, I was very happy. So later what I use from top to bottom, all MILLS brands. The quality has been tested," said Safira Ika, a female national team player from Bangka Belitung.

“I am delighted with these MILLS shoes, they look comfortable and fit perfectly on the feet. So far, MILLS products are always made of quality materials and make sports fans feel proud to wear them,” said Renan, the 2019 Liga 1 best player who strengthened Bhayangkara FC.
