Proud news is back from the country's fashion industry. The Islamic Fashion Institute has just won an award at the Indonesia Halal Industry Award (IHYA) 2021. This appreciation was carried out by the Ministry of Industry to industry players who have participated in developing halal products in Indonesia. As a form of government appreciation for industrial business actors who play an active role in the development of the National Halal Industry, the 2021 Indonesia Halal Industry Award (IHYA) began with the virtual kick off of IHYA on (22/09/21).

This appreciation degree is intended for individuals, communities, universities and industry players who contribute to the development of the national halal industry.

There are 7 categories that have been selected, namely:1. Best Halal Innovation2. Best Social Impact Initiative3. Best Halal Supply Chain4. Best Small Enterprise5. Best Halal Industrial Estate6. Best Export Expansion7. Best Halal Financial Support

On this occasion the Islamic Fashion Institute was selected as one of the participants who received an award in the category of Academic Innovation - Best Halal Innovation

“This is the best opportunity in 2021 that with the permission of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Islamic Fashion Institute can reach this point. Thank you to the Center for Halal Industry Empowerment (PPIH) of the Ministry of Industry, the Center for Textiles, the Indonesia Halal Lifestyle Center and the Indonesian Textile Association who are currently continuing to work for the halal industry in Indonesia and their support for IFI," said Hanni Haerani as Manager of the Islamic Fashion Institute.

The award was given by Mr. Agus Gumiwang as Minister of Industry and Vice President Mr. Ma'ruf Amin at the Kempinski Hotel Jakarta on (17/12/21).

The event featured several works by a number of designers.

 Starting from Hannie Hananto with the Gemah Ripah Loh Jinawi collection with the concept of sustainable fashion which will become a trend next year.

There is also a collection of Temmi Wahyuni ​​with the GRAMMI theme which presents a casual style with a touch of traditional striated and jumputan fabrics.

And, there is also a work by Elsya Kurnia Lestari with the theme Horizon at Dawn.
